From Feb 24, 2021 (20:00) to Mar 01, 2021 (01:00)

Hello quantum world,

We are excited to welcome you to the ICPC Quantum Computing Challenge, powered by IBM Quantum. This four-day global programming contest will expose contestants to an entirely new paradigm of computation that has the potential to transform the fields of physics, chemistry, finance, and more. Prior knowledge of quantum computing is not required, but take a look at the learning materials below.

Starting February 24 at 12:00pm PST, contestants will use their problem solving and programming skills to design and write efficient quantum programs for execution on quantum computers--including those available today via the IBM Quantum Experience.

- Qiskit Textbook chapters 1 and 2 on quantum states
- Qiskit Textbook discussion on Grover's algorithm
- This video for transpiling quantum circuits down to cx & u3 gates
- This video on how to convert quantum circuits written in Qiskit to QASM
